Open the new Remote-Linked Adjustable Height Power-Operated Tailgate as you approach your RDX with the press of a button on the key fob. And now, new for 2019, it's height adjustable, so the tailgate opens and closes with a precise motion with high head clearance for hassle-free loading and unloading.

INTEGRATED DYNAMIC SYSTEM (IDS).

Go from the everyday to the full sport experience - all at the turn of a dial. The Integrated Dynamics System (IDS), standard on the RDX, delivers four dynamic drive modes to match the mood you're in - Comfort, Snow, Sport and Sport+.

2.0 TURBO ENGINE - 10 SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION.

Under the hood, the RDX swaps its 3.5-liter V-6 for a rorty 2.0-liter turbo-4 that makes 272 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque, which peaks at 1600 to 4500 rpm. Based on the Honda Civic Type R's turbo-4, this energetic dual-overhead-cam engine has 40 percent more low-rpm torque than the V-6 did, and it's teamed with a new 10-speed automatic that can toggle down 4 speeds at a time, if it must.

STAY CONNECTED.

2019 Acura RDX comes with a 10.2-inch center screen, automatic climate control, Apple CarPlay, keyless ignition, in-car high-speed data, 12-way heated front sport seats, a panoramic sunroof, a power height-adjustable tailgate, LED headlights, and 19-inch alloy wheels. The 9-speaker infotainment system comes with USB ports, Bluetooth audio streaming, and satellite and HD radio.

ANTI-LOCK BRAKES.

ABS brakes automatically sense when a tire has stopped rotating under extreme braking, and will modulate the brake pressure to allow the tire to rotate. This increases the vehicles ability to turn while braking.

STABILITY CONTROL.

Stability control automatically senses when the vehicles handling limits have been exceeded and reduces engine power and/or applies select brakes to help prevent the driver from losing control of the vehicle.

AIRBAGS.

Front-impact airbags for the driver and passenger have been designed to protect the head during a frontal crash.

Side impact airbags for the front seats have been designed to protect the torso during a side impact collision.

Overhead airbags are used to protect the occupant's heads in the event of a side collision or rollover.

Knee airbags help to protect the occupants lower extremities from serious injury in the event of an accident.

SECURITY SYSTEM.

The vehicle is equipped with a means of anticipating and/or detecting unwanted vehicle intrusion. The vehicle is equipped with an ignition disable device that will prevent the engine from starting if the correct original manufacturer key is not used.

ULTRA-RIGID BODY w/MULTIPHASE STEEL FRAME.

An extremely strong frame made from second-generation multiphase steel fortified with austenite and nanoparticles helps protect you and your passengers.

The rigid body of every RDX reduces body torque, freeing the suspension to do what it does best - provide super-tight handling. A flex-free frame also reduces squeaks, rattles, vibrations and cabin noise.

EXTERIOR HIGHLIGHTS.

The new RDX doesn't have a bad side. Adding to the dynamic look of the body is a sculpted rear design, round exposed dual exhaust finishers, and LED tail lights. The overall effect is to make the RDX stand out no matter where you are. Now you just have to get used to all the attention.
