Trim Levels (Exterior)

It looks like the 2024 Acura ZDX will be available in five trims: Base, Technology, A-Spec, Advance, and the Type S. The top-of-the-line Type S will feature a light-up diamond pentagon grille, smooth body lines and styling, and a floating roof to set it apart from other SUVs. The ZDX will feature a more traditional two-box SUV shape, garnering attention at every turn. Fascia scallops and a sculptured hood help frame the headlights and cooling ducts. Wraparound glass, a deep tailgate, and a full-width LED light cluster highlight the backend, making the ZDX look like a futuristic powerboat.

Engine (Power)

All-electric power will come from GM's Ultium battery technology for the 2024 Acura ZDX Type S, similar to the power pack found in the Lyriq or Blazer EV. A 102.0-kilowatt-hour battery should provide you with just over 300 miles of all-electric range in the ZDX Type S. Level 1 and 2 charging will be available for your home or garage, while DC Fast Charging stations will let you power up on the go. Horsepower should be in the 500 range, giving you plenty of get-up-and-go to stay in front of the pack on any highway.

Performance

Acura knows that performance-enhancing features improve the driving experience, so the 2024 ZDX Type S will be packed. All-wheel drive should be standard on the Type S, although the other trims may have a rear-wheel-drive system as standard and an available all-wheel-drive system to give you more control and traction over various surfaces. You should get a zero-to-60 mph time of around four seconds in the Type S, giving you a thrilling ride every time.
