2024 Acura ZDX Type S

This vehicle isn't your everyday SUV, as the ZDX is labeled as a performance SUV featuring performance variants that put the driver first, including the electrified Type S variant. Trim Levels (Exterior)
It looks like the 2024 Acura ZDX will be available in five trims: Base, Technology, A-Spec, Advance, and the Type S. The top-of-the-line Type S will feature a light-up diamond pentagon grille, smooth body lines and styling, and a floating roof to set it apart from other SUVs. The ZDX will feature a more traditional two-box SUV shape, garnering attention at every turn. Fascia scallops and a sculptured hood help frame the headlights and cooling ducts. Wraparound glass, a deep tailgate, and a full-width LED light cluster highlight the backend, making the ZDX look like a futuristic powerboat.
Engine (Power)
All-electric power will come from GM's Ultium battery technology for the 2024 Acura ZDX Type S, similar to the power pack found in the Lyriq or Blazer EV. A 102.0-kilowatt-hour battery should provide you with just over 300 miles of all-electric range in the ZDX Type S. Level 1 and 2 charging will be available for your home or garage, while DC Fast Charging stations will let you power up on the go. Horsepower should be in the 500 range, giving you plenty of get-up-and-go to stay in front of the pack on any highway.
Performance
Acura knows that performance-enhancing features improve the driving experience, so the 2024 ZDX Type S will be packed. All-wheel drive should be standard on the Type S, although the other trims may have a rear-wheel-drive system as standard and an available all-wheel-drive system to give you more control and traction over various surfaces. You should get a zero-to-60 mph time of around four seconds in the Type S, giving you a thrilling ride every time.
Interior
Premium, eco-friendly interior materials will welcome you into the 2024 Acura ZDX Type S. The Type S will also feature the first-ever Google built-in personalized and connected driving experience. Google Maps on the Type S is designed explicitly for EV drivers, providing an enhanced version that helps you plan routes with recharging options. It also lets you estimate the required charging time to reach your destination. You'll Also find Google Assistant, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Acura's signature ELS stereo system, and wireless charging in this luxurious all-electric SUV.
Safety Features
Safely arriving at your destination is paramount, and Acura will add many standard and available safety and driver-assistance features to the 2024 ZDX Type S to ensure that happens. The standard suite of class-leading driver aids includes an advanced airbag system, a collision mitigation braking system, adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, road departure mitigation, and a lane-keeping system. A blind-spot monitor and rear cross-traffic alert should also be available on the Type S.
