After a long hiatus, Acura’s Integra is back for the 2023 model year! This iteration of the famed sport compact has certainly earned its nameplate by delivering big on performance and style. The package only gets better with the latest technology being incorporated into its design. Here’s an exciting look at the 2023 Acura Integra!
Your Guide to the 2023 Acura Integra
Powertrain
The Integra is now powered by an incredibly responsive 1.5L turbocharged inline-4 that makes 200 horsepower and 192 lb-ft of torque—good enough for a 0 to 60 time of just 7.0 seconds. Its standard transmission is continuously variable while allowing the driver to make crisp manual shifts with paddle shifters. A 6-speed manual is also available with the A-Spec w/Technology model, pleasing enthusiasts with its short throws and rev matching.
When equipped with the manual transmission, the Integra also gets a helical limited-slip differential, which maximizes traction by diverting extra power to the wheels with the most grip. In addition to providing the thrills, the car’s powertrain limits trips to the fuel pump with its fuel efficiency of up to 37 MPG highway, rated by the EPA.
Chassis
Naturally, the new Integra has been fitted with a sporty suspension setup featuring a MacPherson strut in front and multi-linkage in the rear. This makes the car feel very stable while going through tight corners. An available adaptive damper system can firm up the ride for sharper response or soften it for a more comfortable trip. Perfectly balanced steering means that direction changes feel effortless, and strong brakes quickly bring the car to stop.
Interior
With its clean lines, metallic trim, and deeply bolstered sport seats, the Integra’s interior is sophisticated and racy. The easy-to-read instrument panel is complemented by an available heads-up display that’s projected onto the windshield. This HUD shows everything from speed and RPMs to navigation system directions and alerts from your driver assists. Base models come equipped with plush leatherette upholstery, heated seats, and ambient lighting.
A-Spec w/Technology models provide an even more luxurious riding experience by adding microsuede seating with unique stitching, a driver’s seat memory system, and a wireless charging pad.
Infotainment
The Integra’s intuitive infotainment system can be accessed through a 7- or 9-inch touchscreen display. It offers Android Auto/Apple CarPlay integration, Bluetooth audio streaming, and Siri Eyes Free, letting you access your iPhone’s apps through simple voice commands. For voice commands that control the infotainment system’s features, there’s the available Alexa Built-In.
An 8-speaker premium audio system pumping out great sound is standard on base and A-spec trims, but buyers can also opt for the 16-speaker ELS Studio 3D system, designed by Grammy-winning producer and engineer Elliot Scheiner.
Adding amazing new features while preserving the fun handling it’s known for, the Integra has made a triumphant return! Get in touch with Open Road Acura of East Brunswick today and schedule a test drive!
