Acura is about luxury and power, and now it’s also about efficiency. The 2025 Acura ZDX has done good service as Acura’s all-electric SUV, and even though it’s being replaced by the all-electric RSX for 2026, you can still get your hands on some of the 2025 models of the ZDX and enjoy this luxurious, sophisticated, and roomy EV SUV.
ZDX A-Spec
The base trim comes with AcuraWatch driver assist, which gives you blind zone steering assist, automatic emergency braking, collision mitigating braking, and road departure mitigation, among many other offerings. But safety isn’t the only thing you’ll love about the ZDX A-Spec. You get a premium 18-speaker Bang & Olufsen premium audio system, dual-zone automatic climate control, a panoramic moonroof, proximity keyless entry, and push-button start.
There’s a single-motor powertrain with rear-wheel drive giving you 358 hp and up to 313 miles of range as well. As with all the other trims, you get 30 cubic feet of space for cargo behind the rear seat and 63 when you put those seats down. Speaking of seats, there’s room for five.
ZDX A-Spec AWD
This trim comes with a dual-motor powertrain, one on each axle, and that means it’s got all-wheel drive. You also get a bump in horsepower to 490 hp. This model can get you from 0 to 60 in just 4.3 seconds and has a range of 304 miles.
Roof rails now come standard, so you can more easily add to your cargo load.
ZDX Type S
If you like pushing the limits, try the Type S. It gives you a power boost up to 499 hp and comes with performance Brembo brakes and extra safety tech for using it all, like a surround-view camera, a head-up display, and enhanced front seats that offer extra support around curves at speed. This trim comes with 22-in alloy wheels and can go 278 miles on a charge.
You also get a digital rearview mirror, a hands-free power liftgate, an upgraded three-zone climate control system, and an adaptive air suspension that adjusts ground clearance on the fly.
ZDX Type S w/ Performance Wheels & Tires
Finally, if you want to take that Type S and really make the most out of it, then you can equip it with performance tires and wheels in a special package available only for the Type S. These 22-in., black alloy wheels make the ride look more aggressive just to start, but they’re also high-performance tires that give extra grip and allow for faster acceleration.
