Warranty Extension Options
Unlike other manufacturers that offer various extensions, you only need one Acura plan that covers everything. This plan is called Acura Care.
How Do You Apply?
You can apply for an Acura Care plan at any dealer. This plan is available for every Acura made in 2020 or after and has completed fewer than 50,000 miles. The earlier you apply for the plan, the longer the term you’ll receive and the greater the benefits. The best option is to apply before your vehicle exceeds 5,000 miles.
Once your coverage begins, the only things you have to do to maintain this plan are to ensure your Acura is serviced according to the service schedule in your vehicle manual and to pay your monthly premium.
What’s Covered by Acura Care?
This plan covers every component in your vehicle except those specifically excluded in the plan. Some of the components covered include the engine, transaxle, fuel system, and AC. In the event of damage to any component covered by the plan, you only pay the deductible listed in the plan. Repairs are performed by Acura-trained technicians, and only Acura-approved parts are used.
Exclusions in the plan include damage caused by unauthorized accessories, lack of maintenance, repairs made outside of the US and Canada, and any repairs prohibited by law.

Roadside Assistance
Assistance is available 24/7/365 for any issue you encounter on the road. Experienced technicians will arrive and assist you with a jump-start, a tire change, lockout assistance, or fuel delivery. These services are free, but you pay the cost for any fuel delivered.
Trip interruption Assistance
If you’re 100 miles or more from home, and you need a repair covered by the plan, you’ll be reimbursed $100.00 per day for up to three days for food and lodging.
Rental Car Reimbursement
If your Acura is in the shop for a covered repair, you’re eligible to be reimbursed $45.00 per day for up to six days towards rental car costs.
