Trim Levels (Exterior)
The new RDX has five different trim levels, each offering unique exterior features to consider. To start with, the base-level RDX features LED auto on/off headlights, heated outboard mirrors, and 19-inch alloy wheels. You can get a metallic pewter finish on the wheels as well if you opt for the Technology Package.
At the A-Spec level, the RDX is outfitted with 20-inch alloy wheels and comes with the Sport Appearance Package standard. Meanwhile, the RDX with Advance Package offers an array of interior upgrades in addition to rain-sensing wipers. The ultimate version of the RDX is the A-Spec with Advance Package, which offers a black headliner and power-folding outboard mirrors.
Engine (Power)
Only a single engine is available for the RDX, but it offers plenty of power for you to enjoy. The engine is a turbocharged 2-liter four-cylinder that produces 272 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. It comes paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission that makes it easy to get the most out of all that power. Additionally, you have the choice between standard front-wheel drive and optional all-wheel drive.
Performance
When it comes to performance, the RDX doesn't disappoint. It can reach 60 miles per hour from a stop in only 6.4 seconds, and the available all-wheel-drive system offers that extra bit of control. In fact, the higher trim levels offer AWD standard. The RDX has featured an Adaptive Damper System for a while now, but the 2023 model's version is tuned to offer more responsive controls and varying drive modes. For instance, the Sport Mode increases performance and responsiveness.
Interior
Inside the RDX, you'll find a spacious and inviting interior equipped with some of the most advanced technology on the market. This includes a 10.1-inch touchscreen interface standard that comes complete with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. You'll also find plenty of room to relax during your drives thanks to the 42 inches of legroom in the front. The second row offers a generous 38 inches of legroom, so you won't get any complaints from rear passengers. If you're more interested in cargo space, you'll have a maximum capacity of 58.9 cubic feet of space, though you still get 29.5 cubic feet of space without putting the rear seats down.
Safety Features
Several exciting safety features come with the new RDX thanks to the AcuraWatch suite of driver assistance systems. It's standard on all versions of the RDX and offers features like adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, and lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist. This SUV even earned a full five stars for its overall safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
