After a long, exhausting vehicle search that lasted for months, my daughter came across an online ad for Open Road Acura of East Brunswick. I called and spoke with John Vargas, and from the very first conversation, I could tell he was professional, responsive, and most importantly, honest, which is rare in today’s car market. We worked together over the phone for several days while he searched for the right vehicle within the price range I wanted. John coordinated everything with Selma and the finance department before I even made the hour-long drive to the dealership. By the time I arrived, the numbers were already where I needed them to be, with no games or surprises. The entire process was smooth, straightforward, and stress-free. I recently purchased a 2026 Acura MDX from Open Road Acura of East Brunswick, and overall, I am very happy with the vehicle. My sales consultant, Antonella, was absolutely fantastic. She was highly professional, transparent, and a pleasure to work with from start to finish. If you are going to this dealership, I highly recommend asking for her! The finance department was also a pleasant surprise in one regard—they did not aggressively push unnecessary add-ons or warranties, which I really appreciated. However, the actual process of signing the paperwork was incredibly slow. It took a couple of hours just to get the documents signed, which made the buying process much longer than it needed to be. My biggest point of frustration, however, was with the delivery and the service team. During vehicle prep, someone used the incorrect screws on the rear license plate bracket. When they tried to install my temporary plates, it stripped the plastic bracket completely. This forced me to make a second, separate trip back to the service department once my permanent plates arrived just so they could spend an hour fixing a mistake that should never have happened. Antonella's excellent customer service is the main reason for this positive rating, but the dealership as a whole needs to improve its efficiency in the finance office and its attention to detail in the service bay."

I had an absolutely incredible experience at Open Road Acura of East Brunswick and truly cannot thank the team enough for helping me pull off the perfect surprise for my daughter’s 18th birthday. I walked in around 10 AM with no idea what I was buying, but one goal: I needed a reliable car purchased, ready, and home by 2 PM before my daughter got home from school. From the moment I arrived, the entire team jumped in to help make it happen. Emily, Alex, Nick, and George were all phenomenal. Alex, my sales representative, was patient, attentive, and genuinely listened to my needs and budget. He let me explore and test drive multiple vehicles until we found the perfect one. Nick, the finance manager, was incredibly fair, transparent, and honest throughout the negotiation process. I never felt pressured, and he worked hard to make the numbers make sense for me. When we noticed a tail light issue and the key fob wasn’t working, George from service immediately stepped in, repaired the light, and got me a replacement key quickly without hesitation. Then they somehow made the experience even more special. Nick let me borrow a giant bow for the surprise, and Alex actually followed me home to deliver the car so everything would be perfect before my daughter arrived. By the time she got home from school, the car was cleaned, repaired, beautifully presented, and ready for one of the happiest moments of her life. The urgency, kindness, professionalism, transparency, teamwork, and care this dealership showed me was beyond impressive. They didn’t just sell me a car — they helped create a memory my daughter and I will never forget. Thank you again to everyone at Open Road Acura East Brunswick for going above and beyond.
